Do you like shark diving? Well then this place should be on your bucket list! But Protea Banks is not for the feint hearted as it comes including Bull/Zambesi sharks, Tiger sharks, Ragged tooth sharks, Hammerhead sharks, White Tips sharks, Black Tip sharks, Threshers sharks and even the occasional Great White shark!.

As Protea Banks has depth ranges untill around 40m with often a current of 4 or 5 knots, this place is therefore only for experienced divers. And if you come here for the first time, log up a few deep dives and also some drift dives, as these are the common conditions here!

But once you have experienced Protea Banks at its best, it’s no use telling other divers about it, as they simply won’t believe you.
