Koh Lipe is close to several major islands surrounded by dive sites. Koh Lipe's dive sites include dozens of coral reefs, but you can also dive on deep sea pinnacles and a wreck.

The coral reefs close to Koh Lipe are in excellent condition and are teeming with wild life. With so many dive sites and such variety, there is scuba diving for everyone on Koh Lipe. So pack your bags and GO!

The best time to visit is from November to April. During this period the island gets a lot of dry North Easterly winds with dry blue skies and starry nights.

Most people enter Thailand by flying into Bangkok International Airport (Airport code BKK). From Bangkok there are various options for getting down to Koh Lipe. If your option is flying then you should fly into Hat Yai Airport (Airport code HDY). Once in Hat Yai get a taxi or a minibus to the Pakbara pier (around 1 hour 30 min). From there ferry’s and speedboats connect to Koh Lipe. You can also fly into Langkawai in Malaysia and get the ferry up which is only an hour. Flying into Malaysia can be slightly cheaper and no visas are required they are issued on arrival into Kuala Lumpur.
