Kadavu is truly one of the best places to experience true Fijian culture. With just one town and very few roads, you can escape modern life and experience Fiji’s incredible natural beauty.

Completely unspoiled, the islands are renowned for diving and are home to the world-famous Great Astrolabe Reef. It is one of the largest barrier reefs in the world and a world-famous dive spot that manages to be still largely unspoiled.  Swim with Manta Rays or dive wrecks and swim through coral gardens - the Great Astrolabe Reef offers a huge range of underwater experiences. And there’s also plenty to see inside the islands too, including rainforests, birdwatching and guided sea-kayaking tours. And while getting around is an adventure, it’s worth it to experience such tranquil and untouched islands.

The best time to visit Fiji is between the months of April and November when the weather is dry and the temperature ranges between 26°C to 30°C. Outside this period it can get quite hot and unpleasantly humid.

First fly into Nadi International Airport (Airport Code NAN). It can be reached from Los Angeles, Auckland, Christchurch, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Honolulu, Vancouver and Narita in Japan. Then take a domestic flight with Fiji Airways (www.fijiairways.com) to Kadavu (Airport CODE KAV).
