Gozo is the second largest island of the Maltese archipelago and is greener and more tranquil than its sister island Malta. The sea is only ten minutes away from anywhere on the island and constant and gentle currents keep the waters around Gozo clear and clean. This makes Gozo a superb diving destination with world famous dive sites like the Blue Hole, Inland Sea and Xlendi Bay & Tunnel.

And it’s still relatively cheap for Europe. So pack you dive gear and go!

The climate of the Maltese Islands is characterised by hot, dry summers and mild winters. Like in most of the Archipelago it hardly ever rains during summer but rain showers can be expected between October and April.

First fly into Malta’s International Airport www.maltairport.com (Airport code MLA). The islands’ national air-carrier Air Malta (www.airmalta.com) flies directly to Malta from most European countries. Then get yourself to the Cirkewwa Harbour and take the ferry (www.gozochannel.com) to Gozo. This will take only around 30 minutes.
