Bermuda is known as the “Shipwreck capital of the world”. It has more than five centuries of nautical history beneath its clear waters. At some sites, shipwrecks rest so close to one another that you can explore multiple ships in the same dive. The peak dive season starts about mid-March and runs through November, but many operators do dive year-round, and the beauty is no less spectacular. The shallow water and remarkable visibility in the seas surrounding Bermuda make diving here an unforgettably vivid experience. A typical dive allows plenty of time to explore the coral encrusted hulls, barnacled cannons and holds populated with a kaleidoscopic array of parrot fish, barracuda and angel fish.

Best time to travel
Bermuda has a remarkably mild subtropical climate but being farther north in the Atlantic than for example The Bahamas, Bermuda is much cooler in winter. Summer is probably the best time to visit. Roughly from June through to September. May is nice as well but may not be really hot yet and also the water might not be warm yet. Scuba divers will find Bermuda's waters appreciably cooler than Caribbean waters in winter. Bermuda is less frequently hit by hurricanes than islands in the Caribbean.
